Summer Update: CES In Action at Bruce Monroe Elementary!

As you may know — CES is in business year-round! During the school year at a few locations; and even during the summer! This summer, we were based at our partner school, Bruce Monroe Elementary to oversee their after school program for the students enrolled in summer school (grades Kindergarten – 2nd grade).

No matter the location or season, we make it our business to have some fun! From dancing, to drama plays to reading — Hey! Reading can be fun 😉 We even took a few field trips here and there, with one of our last trips to the National Building Museum (older kids) and to the Turkey Thicket Splash Park (younger kids). But that was just only ONE week of fun! We visited places all over DC over the summer, not only for entertainment — but for learning purposes. We can never leave that out 🙂

Was your child in summer school with us this season? Take a look for yourself:

End Of School Year Fun! See What Happened :-)

Hi Parents, Guardians + Friends!

Charli here! I hope that you all have had a WONDERFUL summer! I have myself — from a little traveling to moving into a new place, to just having fun with with friends — this has been a terrific summer for me! But needless to say,

I miss all of our CES kids 😦

Let’s recap from the end of the 2014-2015 school year. During the last couple of weeks as we wrapped up the year doing absolutely nothing but FUN THINGS, we utilized a good bit of that time to enjoy the outside weather. We also spent a little of time inside doing arts + crafts 🙂

By the last day, we enjoyed a Popsicle Party and Chalk Art on our playground! Do you see your child?? Here’s what happened:
